How Does a Water Ionizer Work?
December 21st, 2009Water is an extremely important resource needed by the human body for survival. We keep hydrated by drinking sufficient amount of water daily. Doctors too advice and ask people to consume about eight glasses of water daily. Drinking large amounts of water is not sufficient; rather you need to drink clean and pure water which is good for your body. It is a well known fact that water ionizers convert the normal tap water into an antioxidant with a negative charge.
How do water ionizers work? When water is passed through the ionization process, the water gets a negative Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP). ORP is a measure which says how much toxins can be absorbed by water. When water has a positive ORP rating it does not have any capacity to absorb toxins. Whereas a negative ORP rating ensures that there is free space for the water to absorb harmful toxins. When we drink this water, the toxins in our body are easily absorbed and flushed out by our systems. We keep healthy and free of diseases as our body gets rid of all the waste and unwanted toxins. Ionized water is an alkaline antioxidant which helps us in many ways.
