I’ve had my old kitchen blender for years. It has made many a fruit smoothie (even if it wasn’t too smooth), many milkshakes, thick soups, you name it. I can’t even remember where I got this blender from – I think one of my friends had an extra blender and she gave me it when I was moving into my apartment. Since then it’s moved with me through a couple of apartments and houses. It’s been a real trooper too, since I’ve overloaded it on more than one occasion. But I could tell it the motor was going so I decided it was time to splurge on a suitable replacement. A blender that would be a solid workhorse but look good in my new kitchen too.
