Business Travel Tips to Save You Time
July 24th, 2008For business travelers, the constant travel combined with the extra workload that often accompanies a business trip can cause you to feel overworked. This stress only worsens when your travel schedule is razor thin, meaning a few precious minutes determine whether or not you make the plane to your next destination. Thankfully, there are a few things that you can do to help save some time on your next business trip that are practical and easy to do, so your stress isn’t compounded.
First off, carry an easy access wallet that can hold your passport, identification, and all necessary travel documentation. This can reduce the amount of time you spend fumbling around at ticket counters and security checks, which can make it easier to get through these areas. Secondly, check in online whenever possible and use electronic documentation whenever you can. This can streamline the transfer and check in processes, allowing you to bypass counters and kiosks at the airport, saving you time. Finally, ensure that your bags are packed at a comfortable weight and are easy for you to get on and off of a plane. Many people lose valuable time fumbling around in overhead bins for their bags and can be slowed down by bulky bags that they are unable to tow around efficiently.
